The TT21 is a two part transponder system, which includes an integrated altitude encoder.

This system is small and lightweight. The remote transponder box can be mounted just about anywhere, including behind the instrument panel (where it will be close to the instrument plumbing) or down the back if that's more convienient.
Important note: In the U.S. to comply with the FAA’s 2020 mandate for ADS-B Out a certified Class 1 transponder is required after 2020, the Trig TT22 matches this requirement being a higher powered Class 1 device. New Zealand doesn’t currently have a mandate, but it is likely that, when they do, they will follow the US so we recommend installing the TT22 just in case. In Australia, the Class 2 devices are acceptable as their mandate was introduced earlier and based on a previous version of the ADS-B TSO.
The control can be mounted in a standard 57 mm (2¼ inch) instrument hole, or where space is really tight, in a compact mounting just 42 mm high.
